1. Invoke-CUMonitorUpdate - Fallback Validation for Non-Local Execution Contexts

   The 'Invoke-CUMonitorUpdate' cmdlet works perfectly when run locally in an interactive PowerShell session, but consistently times out after ~5 minutes in remote or non-interactive execution contexts – even though the Monitor update completes successfully in the background.

   Root cause: The WCF-over-Named-Pipes validation at the end fails due to Windows security restrictions for delegated "NETWORK USER" tokens.

   Impact:
   - Automation scenarios cannot reliably detect actual success
   
   - False-positive error codes trigger unnecessary rollbacks/retries
   
   - Current workaround: Ignore return code + add separate status check

   Proposed Solution:
   Extend cmdlet logic with a remote-friendly validation path:
   1. Primary: WCF Named Pipe (current behavior, for local sessions)
   2. Fallback: Alternative status check (e.g., direct log/DB query, REST API, or net.tcp transport) when Named Pipe fails

   Optional Parameters for powershell:
   -ValidationMode (Local|Remote|Auto) # Auto detects execution context
   -ForceRemoteValidation # Skip Named Pipe entirely

   Benefits:
   Clean integration into automation without workarounds; return code accurately reflects actual update success regardless of execution context.

2. Overview of "Exclude from ControlUp Monitor" Setting

   Whenever you're working on a system that is being monitored by ControlUp, you don't want to generate any alarms (planned maintenance). To do that you can set the "Exclude from ControlUp Monitor" Setting to "Yes" in the objects or folders properties.

   There is always a risk of human error, where one forgets to set the setting back to "No" or "Inherit", leaving the system unmonitored even after the planned maintenance is over.

   A view, icon or even report that shows what the setting is currently set to, could help immensely in avoiding such situations.

   One could periodically check that all systems are included in the monitor that should be, without checking the property of every object/folder manually.

3. Allow user to set entire install path during agent install.

   Requesting that the agent installer be changed to allow the user to set the entire install path during the install. Allowing the path to specified during remote install from the console would be helpful as well. Many environments deploy Windows local firewall rules using path based exceptions. Changing the path every time an upgrade is done forces them to create new firewall exceptions.

4. Customize the date format for Automated Reports

   The date format for reports is currently D/M/YEAR. This is confusing to some people who are expecting M/D/YEAR. Can we have the option to customize the date format?
